Good stuff happening lately! I was featured in the “Poetlandia” column of Flagpole Magazine, alongside a reprint of my poem “Grand Central Station Has Been Closed Since 1988,” originally published in the Indiana Review. Flagpole is Athens, Georgia’s alternative newsweekly. “Poetlandia” is a wonderful column featuring local writers and literary events written by UGA graduate student and novelist Gabrielle Lucille Fuentes.
I have a poem, “Adapted,” in The Adroit Journal 13, the fall 2015 edition, out today! So many wonderful writers in this excellent issue. Peter LaBerge and the other editors are doing great things at Adroit.
Lastly, I didn’t realize that my poetry manuscript was named a finalist in the Trio House Press Trio Award for a First/Second Book. Congrats to the winner, Carolyn Hembree, and the other finalists and semifinalists.
